- The Clipart Coloring Book and Musical Factory was designed to give
- you and your family hours and hours of fun while teaching the
- fundamentals of design and presentations. Your imagination is the only
- limit on this all inclusive Clipart & Presentation program. We thought to
- include Fonts, Music, and Clipart. Some of the creative abilities for
- Clipart Coloring Book include but are not limited to:

- * Customizing a coloring book for your friends or children with special
- messages or a story you create and add to our pictures.

- * Print feature to print your story or coloring book.

- * Paint Program Capabilities that let anyone color in the pictures on the
- screen and save to your hard drive.

- pictures and/or your colored in pictures with up to 100 special effects.

- To install "The Clipart Coloring Book and Musical Factory"
- use Program Manager, select FILE, then RUN, select your CD drive and
- double click on SETUP.EXE in the root directory of the CD-ROM.
- Follow any on screen instructions. This will install a group and icons.

- COLORING, SAVING, and PRINTING your CLIPART:
-
- After editing your picture, just close paint brush and click on YES to SAVE
- picture, your picture will automatically be saved to your hard disk in
- a directory called COLORBK in a sub-directory called PCX all images are
- saved as and edited in the BMP format in 16 colors and maybe printed at
- any time from MS paintbrush or The "Clipart Color Book & Musical Factory"
- interface. If any printing errors arise, please consult your printer
- manufacturer or help from MS paintbrush, or Print Manager in the Control
- Panel. If nothing helps you, import your edited or unedited image in any 3rd
- party graphic program and resize or resample the image and make smaller so
- your computer has enough memory to print your edited or unedited picture.

- USING THE "CLIPART COLORING BOOK and MUSICAL FACTORY" interface:
-

- LOAD FORM:
- Click on this button to load a form Click Faxsheet, Speedmemo, and click
- cancel you may print out this form. or edit and save to your hard drive. To
- unload the form click on load form and select default.bmp and click cancel
- to load blank form.

- LOAD PICTURE:
- Click this button to load a picture. Select a picture that you would like to load
- and select what position you want it in (1-2-3-4) then select cancel to load.
- You may load 4 pictures at one time. User button is for pictures you have
- edited and saved to your hard drive.

- MOVE PICTURE:
- Click this button to move any picture you have loaded on the form. Click
- on the picture you wish to move 1-2-3-4 and select the units of which you
- want to move the image, select the direction you wish to move the image
- and select cancel when done, you may do this to any pictures you have
- loaded on the form.

- EDIT PICTURE:
- Click this button to edit any pictures you have loaded on the form. Click
- on the picture you wish to edit 1-2-3-4 and then select cancel. MS paintbrush
- will load with the picture you have selected. Color in the picture or add
- text to the picture as you wish. Close MS Paintbrush and select YES to save image
- this will automatically save your edited image to your hard drive you may
- edit any pictures you have loaded on the form but only one at a time.

- SLIDE SHOW:
- Click on this button to make a fun slide show or a presentation. Select
- as many pictures in the default directory and or as many pictures in the
- user directory (pictures you have edited and saved). Select F/X off for
- no picture transitions
- * You may choose FX-1 for 100 special effects this may interfere with the
- play of your music.
- * You may choose FX-2 for 4 special effects this should not interfere with
- the play of your music.
- Select any music you wish to play with your slide show, select Mute or
- Music. Select Play to play your slide show. Select QUIT to quit slide
- show mode.

- NOTE: To delete any or all pictures from slideshow double click on the
- pictures you would like to delete

- PRINT PAGE:
- Select this button to print out the current form you have loaded on the
- screen.

- QUIT:
- Select this button to quit "The Clipart Coloring Book and Musical Factory"

- ADDING FONTS
-
- By using the Fonts option, you can add screen, plotter, or TrueType fonts
- to your Windows-based applications.
-
- 1 In the Control Panel window, choose the Fonts icon.
- The fonts already installed are listed in the Installed Fonts box.
- 2 Choose the Add button.
- 3 In the Add Fonts dialog box, select the font you want to add.
- You can add more than one font at a time. You can also select all
- the fonts listed by choosing the Select All button.
- If the font is not located in the current drive or directory,
- select the drive and directory where it is located. If the font
- you want to add is on someone else's computer, you can use the
- Network button to browse through and connect to shared directories
- on other computers.
- 4 If you are low on disk space and want to use the fonts directly from
- the directory (network or local) where they are located, without
- copying the font files to the Windows directory, clear the Copy
- Fonts To Windows Directory check box.
- 5 Choose the OK button.

- 6 In the Fonts dialog box, choose the Close button.

- For help with the Fonts and Add Fonts dialog boxes, choose the Help button
- or press F1 while using the dialog boxes.

- REMOVING FONTS
-
- If you are not using a font, you can remove it to free some memory for your
- applications. Removing a font deletes the font from the Installed Fonts
- list, but does not delete the font file from your hard disk, unless you
- specify otherwise.

- Note: The MS Sans Serif font is used for most Windows dialog boxes. If
- you remove this font, the text in dialog boxes will be difficult
- to read.
-
- 1 In the Control Panel window, choose the Fonts icon.
- 2 Select the font that you want to remove. You can select several
- fonts at a time.
- 3 Choose the Remove button. A message appears, prompting you to
- confirm the removal.
- 4 If you want to delete the font file from the disk in addition to
- removing it from memory, select the Delete Font File From Disk
- check box.
- 5 Choose the Yes button, or, if you want to remove several fonts at
- the same time, choose the Yes To All button.

- 6 Choose the Close button.

- For help with the Fonts dialog box, choose the Help button or press F1
- while using the dialog box.

- || Pauses the device that is currently playing.
- ¥ Stops the media sequence or device that is currently playing.
- |< Moves the slider to the closest mark to the left, or to the
- beginning of the track bar if both marks are to the right of the
- slider.Pressing SHIFT+Previous Mark selects the portion of the
- video sequence traversed by the slider.
- >| Moves the slider to the closest mark to the right, or to the end of
- the media sequence if both marks are to the left of the slider.
- Pressing SHIFT+Next Mark selects the portion of the video sequence
- traversed by the slider.
- << Steps backward through the current media sequence in approximately
- 10 percent increments.
- >> Steps forward through the current media sequence in approximately
- 10 percent increments.

- TO OPEN A FILE:

- Media Player associates the various types of media files with the
- appropriate devices and automatically allocates the needed playback
- resources when you open a file.

- 1 From the File menu, choose Open.

- 2 Type or select the name of the file you want to open.

- To change the device type, select another entry
- in the List Files Of Type box.

- 3 Choose OK.
